Kind of a big deal.

So, today is a big day for me. It's not new news, but it's official now. Here's a hint, if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. I don't feel too different yet.

We had lots of fun with Zach yesterday when he visited my class. It's so nice when a visiting poet can be totally natural, and give spontaneous advice to the students in a way that they can really understand. Here are a few more pics:

Zach in action.

It was April Fool's Day, after all.

Lunch afterwards at the Martin Center.

I think it may be time to get a new coat (finally). Oh my! What happened to my ugly old coat?

This beauty arrived in my mailbox yesterday. Congratulations to Clay Matthews on his new book, Superfecta!

Oh, KIND OF a big deal. Because really, aren't we all in charge of poetry book series? :-P

Seriously, congratulations on it being official, and it's well deserved.

Very cool! If the quality of BOR is any indication, you'll be a very good editor. Though I am probably a wee bit biased there. :)
