It would take me some time to name my favorite books (no jokes about how little I actually read, please). I think it's different for everyone. If I asked you to name your five favorite woodland creatures, you'd likely come up with a list pretty quickly, as you're more interested in nature than records.

It's one of your better traits, quite honestly.Baileyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06834161884631840495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13502106.post-1156159522438186362006-08-21T07:25:00.000-04:002006-08-21T07:25:00.000-04:00I go through phases. Lately, it's been Uncle Tupelo, Gram Parsons, and Son Volt.

If you want a life changing experience, go here and listen/watch to Obadiah Parker's cover of "Hey Ya" by Outkast:

http://www.myspace.com/obadiahparker

page down to the Youtube window and hit play.

If that doesn't work, here is an audio link:

http://trafficsau.de/stuff/heyya.mp3

Having plugged Obadiah Parker (group, not a person), My reading is often the same thing. I will read for specific things. Right now, I am reading Thomas McGrath, Marvin Bell, and Stanley Kunitz. A while ago, I couldn't put down Brian Turner's Here Bullet.

There was a time when I couldn't be pulled away from Lawrence Ferlinghetti. Unfortunately, I am probably the least read poet in the world. I really do not read enough of anything.Justin Evanshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12161484350184865575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13502106.post-1156124357697215662006-08-20T21:39:00.000-04:002006-08-20T21:39:00.000-04:00I don't have favorites either. I have NEVER had a favorite color (even as a young child)and I couldn't pick a favorite artist or author if I had too. Sure there a few at the top of the list but none I would deem as my all time favorite. So you are not alone.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16516027006737818418noreply@blogger.com
