Have I ever mentioned how much I love the Dale Chihuly Polymer Sculpture here at UA? It was funded by donations, btw, so no need to start bitchin' about spending. Some people think it looks like a bunch of blue recycling bags. I want to eat it. I love it. I can't get enough. I want to live in there. Really.

It's HUGE too, Sandra!
Thank goodness it's not made of Reese's pieces, or else I might really eat it...
Rock candy came to my mind, too!
Besides eating it, I bet climbing on it would be fun!
It reminds me of a bag of rock candy (my first experience with the stuff) that Brenda Williams gave to me in 3rd grade. I was disappointed because she was no Gina Sheehan (who was *haawwwwt*) and so despite its sticky blue toothsomeness, suckable hard candy makes me feel bittersweet. Still, that's a nice pic, and it's gotta be new; all I remember is the statue of John Buchtel (or whatever his name was...there was a kid named Buchtel in my high school and sometimes I imagine his pudginess, bronzed and pedestalized, instead of the Real Deal Buchtel). Reese's pieces have more of an autumn color scheme, but you can't blame polymer researchers for that blue (...*rolls eyes*...scientists, pfah).
