I don't know what this says about my personality, but I get to work at 7:30 am just to get a decent parking space. Today I'm here all day for committee work, and there are three major events scheduled on campus, plus Saturday classes, so I got here around 7:45 (yes, it's Saturday) and found the sweetest honey bun of a parking spot right behind my office building. I have actually been guilty of whooping and bouncing up and down in the driver's seat upon finding a particularly stellar spot. Really, it's sick. And for the record, I do like sleeping. Just not as much as I like parking.
This sounds like a revolting breakfast, but I had Aquafina (not my favorite bottled water by a long shot, for the record) and a package of lightly salted peanuts upon arriving this morning, and it was the best little meal ever. I can't wait until I'm done being pregnant and can stop eating so much. Today we are getting sammiches from the English department while doing our work. Hooray!
Finally, I will confess that at long last I have worn pajama pants to campus. I can't believe it's taken me 1.5 semesters, but here I am. You can't really tell because they look like fancy sweatpants, but I know. Oh yes, I know. And it's quiet here (for now), and campus is sunny and cold, and I feel like a wee undergraduate again, cozy in a claustrophobic study carrel and catching up on some homework.

Pillow is to parking space as Dramamine is to diamonds.
Please don't take this as stalker-talk, but your enthusiasm is something I look forward to whenever I read your posts, and the reason I compulsively check your blog for updates.
Stalker!
::blush:: I'm glad I come across as enthusiastic and not just tragically dorky.
Don't steal my parking space, now... ;)
What's up with Aquafina? Why does it taste so...off?
Suzanne, Aquafina never really seems cold. I have a feeling it's because of the bottle or something. And the opening of the bottle is way too wide.
*sigh*
Maybe it is the bottle...Aquafina always tastes funky to me.
And that's all I have to say about that.
I don't like the Aquafina bottle either. Ugh, I got so tired of being hungry while prego. Now I'm hungry all the time because of milk making.
