Is there such thing as too sparkly?

Keith Woodruff is making it really hard for me to avoid thinking about dogs today. Of course, it is only 9:30 am, so there's still time to shake it. I will think about my cats instead.

How come today's youth don't dig Allen Ginsberg the way I do, and the way I did when I was their age?

I guess you could substitute many names in the sentence above, and have similarly puzzling questions. Neruda may be the only exception.

If there's such thing as too sparkly, I don't want to hear it.

Like anything else, writers go in and out of fashion. Don't worry, he'll be back. And there is no such thing as too sparkly, only too dull.
