It seems like everything is happening March 15th or thereabouts. This is a week of waiting for things to happen, like rejections from MacDowell and Yaddo to magically appear in my mailbox. Or not. We'll see. I could really use the time, though, after this semester of being on campus six days a week. Fingers crossed.
After getting a zillion comments about my book cover, Greg went wild over at Cafe Press designing a bunch of Prairie Fever gear. Most of the shirts have quotes on the back (except the kid stuff...that seemed really strange). We did not make a dog t-shirt, but I suppose we could do that for a special pooch who loves Prairie Fever more than all the other books he's recently ordered from Amazon. We didn't make the thong either because that would be downright creepy.

Fever Thongs? Oh my.
Made of the prickliest grasses and thistles.
My wife, for a short time, marketed "Thongweisers," which were thong underwear stuck in a beer bottle and sealed up.
Thongweisers? Oh my lord. I think you can get those from vending machines in Japan.
RHINO looks fabulous!
I'll send a note to Jodee: No B/W cover for the next issue. Wouldn't want another "pink incident."
Beware the ides of March. And the strange salts of spring.
