If you want to know more about the Barn Owl Review cover, check out what Greg has to say here. I think we're keeping the back cover a secret for now, but I can tell you that it's mind-blowing. I've seen it.
I know this is going to be hard to digest, but I am not into Halloween at all this year. Used to be every day was Halloween for me, blah blah blah, but this year the decorations just look tacky (except for the gigantic Schubert tapestry one of our neighbors has in a window). I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm not too lazy to decorate, because I am putting fall stuff up. But no Halloween, and no kid costumes purchased yet, and so on. Hmmm.
I almost feel bad eating while typing on my new laptop. Almost, but not quite. So much prep left to do today, and the minutes are just flying by! Slow down!

Wow. Lots of pressure on the back cover, huh? Thanks for the props!
Re: Halloween. I hear you on the decorations. It seemed like folks were putting them up early (unseasonal warmth didn't help) and all those plastic tombstones and so on are a bit much.
Nevertheless, once you posted this about halloween, somewhere Al Jourgenson was weeping.
Yes, but what was Alain Jourgensen doing?
Oups. I should have caught that it's "-sen" rather than "-son."
Silly Frank.
What's really silly is that his name really is Alain. I always thought that was an affectation.
Another fun fact: he was born in Cuba.
Gotta love the wiki.
