Cross-pollination...good for the ecosystem?

P.J. tagged me, and since I'm such a fan of his fritattas and fashion advice, I must comply. It's really sad that I have to go open itunes to remember what the heck I like right now, but we just got a super-cute retro stereo thingy for the living room, so I will be in tuneland again soon.

List five songs that you are currently digging - it doesn't matter what genre they are from, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying right now. Post these instructions and the five songs (with artist) in your blog. Then tag five people to see what they're listening to.

1. Donovan "Season of the Witch"
2. The Smiths "Ask"
3. Notorious BIG "Big Poppa"
4. The Cranes "Lilies"
5. 50 Cent feat. Mobb Deep "Outta Control"

Yes, I am eclectic. And they do have rap in Akron!

I tag:

1. Byf
2. Mackenzie
3. Brandi
4. the guy currently painting my house
5. Tesia

Yes Byf...it is a list.

I will pay you back in soda and pies.

You needn't. Just give me that autographed Charles Schulz cartoon that I covet.

You have a great memory, Byf!

Gotta find that at casa Patent & Scotch one of these days (didn't sell it on ebay when I was an undergrad or anything).

I sometimes fear that we are misappropriating your blog as a means to catch up. So let me actually comment on your post. Good choice on the Smiths. I went through a Smiths phase a while back; I had to dig through some boxes and find my cassettes. Then I realized I don't have a cassette player anymore. Thank God for iTunes.

Shit. I am sooo out of touch. . .thanks for making it ridiculously obvious and making me display it for all the world to see. . . so embarassing. I better see some soda and pies as well. . .
