Now for something extremely important...

Should I forego this year's inevitable annual shearing and keep my hair long?

I keep going back and forth on this one, so I'm turning this decision over to you.

Exhibit 1: five minutes ago in my office. Pardon the most hideous fluorescent lighting, which makes me look freshly-exhumed.

Keep it long. Love it.

I have to admit I am torn. I like the whole short hair thing---and you certainly look great with short hair, but I have come to a new appreciation of long hair with my wife growing hers out.

I know this doesn't help, but I would say flip a coin and go with it. Do something completely random.

It looks very pretty in this picture -- Long is nice...

But with a new baby, short might be easier to deal with.

Love the locks as they are now--they frame your face, are still short enough to be sassy or sophisticated.

It looks great long or short. The way I usually decide to cut it is when I realize I've spent 95% of my day trying to keep it in a ponytail or some other style to keep it up. If it turns into a hassle, that's when I cut it off. :o)

You can do no hair wrong. You are blessed by the hair gods.

Chop or not, you still win!

Thanks for the help, you guys!

Charlie, I've been waiting for your recommendation. ;)

Long. If short wins out for practical reasons, so be it. But that length you have now looks great.

Long long long! If I can avoid the shearing, you can too.

Fingers AND toes crossed!!

It's funny, because to me short is much more trouble than long. If it's short I have to, like, wash it all the time.

I think that I will be avoiding the shears this year.

Byf, how's your perm doing these days?

I'm lovin' my wings.

But what about your legwarmers, Byf?

Aren't those coming back in fashion, along with the tight jeans?

Bustin' out,
